With a mix of classroom and on-bike lessons, this one-day class gives you the knowledge, know-how, and confidence to safely ride your bike on the street. Traffic Skills 101 is intended for adults (18 and older) with beginner and intermediate experience levels.
Smart Cycling is a nationally produced course from the League of American Bicyclists and taught by Trailnet’s League Certified Instructor, Taylor March.

Basic bike maintenance
Bike Handling Skills
Riding in Traffic
Using lanes and changing lanes
Basic Nutrition for Biking
Dealing with hazards
Lunch will be on your own, but there are a large number of restaurant options nearby, and a fridge and kitchen facilities for those who would like to bring their own.
Please bring your bike and your helmet to this event. We will have a small selection of give away helmets available, if you don't have one.
