You know what bikes can do for you. The rest of America is just starting to see what bikes can do for businesses, communities, and the nation as a whole. The League of American Bicyclists and its members are working every day to build a Bicycle Friendly America, and you can help.

With your support, we’re:

  • Working directly with congress to strengthen the movement for Safe Streets
  • Building a coalition of stakeholders with Environmental, Health and Safety orgs
  • Convening and propelling the bike movement through the National Bike Summit
  • Empowering League Cycling Instructors, bringing biking to more communities
  • Advancing bicycling culture, providing resources to cities, businesses and schools

This year, while the COVID-19 pandemic effectively cancelled the National Bike Summit, we moved all of our sessions online, in addition to our famed Capitol Hill lobby day. From our home offices and basements, advocates equipped by the League urged their lawmakers in DC to boost funding for Transportation Alternatives, demanded a vision test for autonomous vehicles and asked for SAFE streets enhancements for communities that need it most.

Please consider making a gift to support the League at this critical time. The CARES Act in response to the COVID-19 pandemic offers some excellent new incentives for giving, whether you itemize deductions or not.
